A skilled Worker Visa allows individuals to live and work in the UK, provided they have an offer of employment in an eligible skilled worker position from a UK employer who has held a valid sponsor license issued by the Home Office to sponsor workers. The job title must meet minimum salary and skill level requirements, and the applicant must satisfy the criteria, including the English language requirement. The visa can lead to indefinite leave to remain after a certain period of continuous residence and employment in the UK. Most applicants (except for a few job titles and SOC codes) may also be joined or accompanied by dependent partners and children, who may also be able to live, work, and study in the UK.
